Finding Your Toast API Credentials
You must create API credentials in Toast so that the plugin can pull menu data.
- Login to Toast POS Admin
- Type “Manage Credentials” the Search Bar
- Open the Manage API Credentials page
- If you do not have access, ask your admin to grant you the proper permissions: “8.4 Manage Integrations”
- Click the Dropdown on “Create new credentials” > “Standard API”
- Add credential name like “Website (ButterMenus )”
- Select “menus:read” as API scope
- Select your restaurant location(s)
- Generate the Credentials
