Adding Multiple Restaurant Locations
ButterMenus Pro Multi-Location allows restaurants with multiple locations under a single Toast POS account to display menus for each location on their WordPress website.
This is ideal for restaurant groups, breweries, cafés, and bar concepts that operate multiple locations but want to manage menus efficiently from a single system.
The Pro Multi-Location tier supports up to 10 locations per Toast account (contact us for more).
Set Up Multiple Locations
- In WordPress, go to ButterMenus → Settings
- Scroll to the Restaurant Settings Section
- You will see a repeating field where locations can be added (Location Name | Restaurant ID)
- Each location ID will be similar to: “a3b41f7f-03df-4c9e-9337-3d81251b645e”
- Click “Add Location” to add an additional location
- Save Settings
- Check Dashboard to ensure new menus are coming in.
Best Practices for Multi-Location Restaurants
Many restaurant websites create individual pages for each location.
Example structure:
/locations/downtown
/locations/east-side
/locations/riverside
Each page can include a ButterMenus shortcode configured for that specific location.
This keeps menus accurate while allowing each location page to rank in local search results.
Why Use Multi-Location Menu Syncing
Restaurants with multiple locations often face the challenge of updating menus across multiple pages.
Without automation this requires manually editing each location page whenever menu items or prices change.
ButterMenus solves this by pulling menus directly from Toast POS so each location menu stays updated automatically.
